The point-slope form of the equation of a line is

[tex] y - y_1 = m(x - x_1) [/tex]

where (x1, y1) is a point on the line, and m is the slope of the line.

[tex] y - 3 = \dfrac{5}{3}(x - 0) [/tex]

[tex] y - 3 = \dfrac{5}{3}x [/tex]
