Okay, so in real life
[tex]1 \: yard \: = \: 0.9144 \: meters \\ 1 \: meter \: = \: 1.094 \: yards[/tex]
But, using the table we need to do this, this is what we know.
[tex]7 \: yards \: = 6.3 \: meters \\ 6.3 \: \div 7 = 0.9 \: (rounded) \\ so \: in \: the \: table \\ 1 \: yard = \: 0.9 \: meters[/tex]
Now Vice Versa
[tex]6.3 \: meters \: = 7 \: yards \\ 7 \div 6.3 = 1.1 \: (rounded) \\ so \: in \: the \: table \\ 1 \: meter = 1.1 \: yards[/tex]
