Answer: Theodore Roosvelt

Explanation: In 1901 Theodore became vice president. When President McKinley was killed, Theodore became president. He helped save wildlife and forests. He also worked with Panama to build the Panama Canal.

In 1906 Theodore won the Nobel Peace Prize for helping end the Japanese war. In 1912 he ran for president again but lost.
