The given problem will be solve through ideal gas equation,

PV = nRT

P = pressure

V = volume

n = number of moles

R = general gas constant

T = temperature

Now we will put the values.

0.5 atm × 25 L = n × 0.0821 atm.L /mol.K × 300 K

12.5 atm. L =  n × 24.63 atm.L /mol

n = 12.5 atm. L /24.63 atm.L /mol

n = 0.51 mol
