v avg=(x2-x1)/(t2-t1)

(the numbers are subscripts)

v avg = average velocity (m/s)

x1 = the start position of an object (m)

x2 = the end position of an object (m)

t1 = the start time of the motion (s)

t2 = the end time of the motion(s)
