The  ratio of  effusion   of   rates of  oxygen  (O2)   to Hydrogen (H2)  is   calculated  as  follows

rate  of  O2/  rate of H2  =  square root  of   molar  mass  of  H2/molar  mass of O2  

=  square  root  =  2 /32  = 0.25
