What is the solution to the equation 6y –2(y + 1) = 3(y – 2) + 6?
y = –10

Answer:

(6 x -10) - 2(-10+1) = 3(-10-2) + 6

-60 + 18 = -36 + 6

-42 is not equal to  -30

Sorry it can't be answered. If it is -6 instead of + 6, it would be equal
