[tex]f(x) = \sqrt{4*sin(x)+2} [/tex]
[tex]f(0) = \sqrt{4*sin(0)+2} [/tex]
Now what is the sine of 0?
We can take a look at the Unit Circle, angle 0. On the Unit Circle, sine of 0 is 0 (also because: (cos, sin), and sin = y, and angle 0 is 0 on the y-axis.)
[tex]f(0) = \sqrt{4*0+2} [/tex]
[tex]f(0) = \sqrt{2} [/tex]

Hope this helps!
