no you can't because there wasn't any zeros in this function.

The solution to the problem is as follows:


y = x^2 + 64 

f(x) = 0 = x^2 + 64 

x^2 = -64 

x = √-64 

so.. 

x = 8i ; x = -8i 

Don't forget the negative root.
