Is it possible to have more than two alleles for one (genetic) trait? Explain.

Yes. There can be many versions (allele) for a specific trait. Like different eye color that exist. Organisms always gets either 2 dominant, or 1 dominant and 1 recessive, or 2 recessive traits for the same gene.
