Why is it not possible for lightning to strike the same area twice?

There's no answer, because there's no question.

It's very highly possible for lightning to strike the same place twice. Or ten times, or a hundred times, or more. Very likely. It happens every day.

Unless the place burns to the ground. Then, it's not too likely that lightning will hit it again after that. But it's still not impossible.
