What is Microfauna?

These are referred to as microscopic animals which lack mitochondrion and exists in the soil etc. The nematodes  and protozoa are mostly common organisms among them.

Microfauna can be seen with the use of microscope and can be measured in centimeters, millimeters etc based on the size of their body structure.
