The value of logy will be 7.457.

What is a logarithm?

The exponent indicates the power to which a base number is raised to produce a given number called a logarithm.

In another word, a logarithm is a different way to denote any number.

Given that log x is twice log y

So,

logx = 2 logy

logx = logy² ( by property of log)

x = y²

Now given that x = 3 × 10⁶

So,

y² = 3 × 10⁶

y = 1732.5

Now,

Logy will be

log1732.5 = 7.457

Hence "The value of logy will be 7.457".
