in the example would be 1 m,25 12dm,5 125cm u just do x10(x100,x1000...) if u use a smaller unit(from m to cm or m to mm) or :10 (:100,:1000...) if u use a a bigger one (from cm to m or m to km) I'm not sure if this was what you were looking for.
