The extent to which a performance measure is deemed to be satisfactory or adequate by those who use it is known as acceptability.
This depends on how willing the managers/employers are to accept various kinds of performances as good, decent, okay, or bad. It also depends on the views of the employees - whether they believe that the performance management system is fair or not.
