Why do liquids evaporate at different rates?

This is because different molecules require varying quantities of energy to evaporate. Heavier molecules need more energy than lighter molecules, as more mass requires more power. Similarly, the density of a given liquid will affect the rate at which liquidscan heat up, and therefore evaporate.
