2.80 you divide 2.10 by 3 that will give you .7 or .70 then you add 70cents to 2.10.

To prove

As given

if 3 pieces of candy cost $2.10 .

Thus

[tex]Cost\ of\ one\ piece\ candy = \frac{2.10}{3}[/tex]

Cost of one piece candy = 0.7

Cost for four pieces candy = 0.7 × 4

                                             = $2.8

Therefore the Cost for four pieces candy be $2.8 .
