How are organelles and cytoplasm passed from one generation to the next?

Cell division is the process by which DNA is passed from one generation to another and during this process the cytoplasmic division also take place. During cell division, the cytoplasm of the cell together will all the cell organelles within it always divide into two, forming two new daughter cells.
