Then we have to find the value of f(-2) + g(5)

Since f(x) = 3x - 1

f(-2) = 3(-2) -1

      = - 6 - 1

      = -7

and g(x) = (-x + 6 )

              = 1

Then f (-2) +g(5) = (-7+1) = (-6)
