How to convert 59mm to cm

1 millimeter (ml) is equal to 0.1 centimeters (cm), so all you have to do is take however many mm you have, and multiply that by 0.1. Then you have your answer. So, 59 times 0.1 is 5.9

My solution is totally different from high school but I'll try my best to explain
The prefix milli is
[tex]{10}^{- 3} [/tex]
and the prefix centi is
[tex] {10}^{ - 2} [/tex]
To get to centimeter you'll just divide by 10
