An equation in the form [tex]\theta=\dfrac{\pi}{4}[/tex] is the line 
that goes through the origins and whose tangent equates [tex]\dfrac{\pi}{4}[/tex]. In general, any equation in the form [tex]\theta=\theta_0[/tex]
is the equation of a line.
