A turgid plant cell would be found in the hypotonic environment. When the cell is in such environment it means that a hypotonic solution has a lower concentration of solutes than the cell (cytosol). In those conditions water diffuses into the cell, by osmosis, vacuole swells and pushes against the cell wall.
