Referring to the Crucibles act 3

1.The purpose of the court is justice and rid Salem of the Devil and sin.

2. The government is a theocracy, therefore God is the only true witness. (which make god has the right to impose full judgement)

3.This is wrong because anyone can accuse any person of witchcraft whether they witnesses it or not. (and there was a lot of case where the accusation is made simply to make a certain person executed for personal gains)
